I thought snap-on tools were only made in the USA?

I bought a depth micrometer set today. Even though it's blue-point made it says in bold letters on the top right of the box Made In China. What the crap, this is the whole reason I buy snap-on tools.

Snap-On makes good hand tools.
If you want quality precision measuring instruments I would recommend the Starrett brand...been around for years. I believe their products are still made in Massachussetts. They're the brand of choice for most machinists and tool & die makers.
